[For ages 6-14] Minecraft beginners and experts: come build your world and characters in a weekly Minecraft competition with your friends at the APL Washington Ave. Branch.

[For ages 3+] We're celebrating Children's Authors & Illustrators Week for February Break! Each day will be a book-themed craft to take home. Hang out, read, create!

Monday, 2/16: Rainbow Fish

Let's learn simple coding with robots!  Get to know (& program!) Bee-Bot, our Robot Mice & Cubetto.  Walk-ins welcome; registration is appreciated. Register online or call 518-427-4300 ext. 4.

[For ages 0-11] Do you want to build a snowman? Albany Public Library will be welcoming the Snow Queens for a special Saturday songs and stories event.

Calling all parents, care-givers, and day-care providers! Bring your babies and toddlers for a fun half hour of stories, rhymes, and songs! 

[For ages 5-14] Calling all little Makers! Along with access to all of the Albany Made Lab equipment, Mini Makers will be able to use some of our favorite Youth Services gadgets and tools.

[Ages 1-4] Come join Gruff the friendly storytime monster and his human librarian side-kick for fun stories, silly songs, and dancing. Bring your energy and your little one and get all the wiggles out! 

[2-5] Come on down to the historic Howe Branch of the Albany Public library for Stories, Songs, Dancing, Playtime and Crafts!

[Ages 5-17] Kids love reading to Rocket, certified therapy dog.  Why?  Because he's soft, cuddly and a good listener.

[For Ages 4-8] Become a member of our weekly book club! Parents will receive support and guidance on early literacy practices, including how to support their readers at home.
