Albany Public Library maintains meeting room space and study rooms for use by individuals, community groups, associations, and agencies when such space is not being used for library sponsored programming. All meetings must be free and open to the public. Unless specifically approved by the Library Administration, no fees, dues or donations may be charged or solicited for any program.
Meeting Rooms:
Meeting Rooms may be reserved no less than 24 hours in advance of the program and up to 90 days in advance. Individuals or groups may reserve rooms up to 18 times in a 12-month period. Room reservations are mediated and requesting a room doesn't guarantee a reservation until the request has been approved.
Study Rooms:
Study Rooms may be booked for 1 hour per day. Time may be extended depending on demand.
After-Hours Meetings:
If you are interested in booking a meeting/event that runs beyond regular library hours (up to 9 p.m.), Monday through Thursday, please use the form (linked here) to request after-hours use.
If you need assistance with booking a meeting room or study room, you may reach out to the Library Branch by calling 518-427-4300 and selecting the extension for the branch you are inquiring about.
