[For Adults] This class is designed for adult newcomers to Albany who have some basic English language skills and are looking to improve their fluency and communication abilities.

Are you a fiber crafter? Does your family have all the hand knitted or crocheted hats, scarves, mittens, or shawls that they could possibly use in this lifetime? Do you have a passion and skill for making hand-knitted or crocheted garments?

[18+] Join us at the Historical Howe Branch on the first Friday of the month to Watch New or Old Movies! This month's movies are              

Come hang out after school with video games, crafts, and more!

[For ages 9-17] Play various video games including Smash Brothers, Tekken, NBA 2K22 on the Nintendo Switch or PS4 with your friends! 

[For Ages 13-17] Clash your favorite gaming icons in the ultimate showdown. Tweens and Teens are invited to bring their friends and play Super Smash. Come see if you are good enough to beat our library gamers!

Come try out some of our favorite fidget toys, search through our discovery bins & explore our sensory items! Walk-ins always welcome; no registration necessary.

Learning through play! Playdough playtime is a sensory learning experience for your young child. Kids will learn letters, shapes, numbers, and more while developing their fine motor skills and having fun in the process!

Super-Natural brings together a group of artists who capture and transform our natural world into the mystical—pulsing with light and energy.

[For ages 0-10] What do drag queens and children have in common? They love dressing up and all things sparkly and fancy! 

Join special guest, Noelle Diamond, for a fun-filled hour of stories, songs, a craft, and photos.

[Adults 18+] Join us to begin stitching a colorful, floral themed cross stitch bookmark!  All supplies will be provided.  Basic instruction will be available to participants with little to no experience with cross stitch.

[For ages 0-18 months] Please join us in our Youth Services Room for stories, fingerplays, songs, and rhymes for children ages 0 to 18 months and their caregiver.

Join us at the North Albany branch for our monthly yap and craft sesh! Bring your current knitting, crochet, needle point, or other fiber arts craft. New to fiber arts? We can teach you the basics!

Bring your device & your questions and we'll figure it out together. This is a one-on-one help session. Registration is required; call 518-427-4300, ext. 4 to register, or register online. Tech Help is offered every Monday.

Calling all parents, care-givers, and day-care providers! Bring your babies and toddlers for a fun half hour of stories, rhymes, and songs! 

Bring your latest fiber art project and meet with like-minded crafty people. Open to beginners as librarian Jamie O. will have needles and yarn to teach the basics of knitting and crochet. No registration necessary.
