Celebrate Poetry month with sonnets and acrostics. Be inspired by Shakespeare, Yeats and Edna St. Vincent Millay and try out your own sonnet and write an acrostic. 

Students’ grades K-12 can meet with a student tutor from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and University at Albany for a half an hour tutoring session. Tutors can offer homework help, worksheets, and test prep.  

[For children & families] For Autism Acceptance month, join autism advocate and public speaker Andrew Maggio as he shares his firsthand experiences living with autism.

[For Adults] This class is designed for adult newcomers to Albany who have some basic English language skills and are looking to improve their fluency and communication abilities.

Anthony Opalka is the current official historian of the city of Albany.

Learn about the timeless art of Quilling. Students will be shown how to complete a simple quilling project and will be taught skills that can be applied to other projects. No experience necessary and all materials will be provided.

[Ages 0-5] Join us for a sensory friendly storytime with dimmer lights, fidget toys, and fun songs, followed by unstructured play time.

[Ages 0-5] Join us for stories, songs & fun for preschoolers and their caregivers every week at the Delaware Branch. After Storytime-- stay & play! Let your little ones tap into their imaginations during this unstructured play time.

[10-17] "I Can't Believe It's Not An Anime Club!?: For Teens!" is not your normal type of club. It's a Manga club, a drawing club and a discution club where you can talk about new and upcoming mangas, games, cosplays/styles and yes even anime.
