[For ages 6-14] Minecraft beginners and experts: come build your world and characters in a weekly Minecraft competition with your friends at the APL Washington Ave. Branch.

[Ages 7-12] Take a break from screens and come to the library and participate in a series of fun activities led by our library staff.

[All Ages] As part of Free Comic Book Day, participants will learn about the exciting world of zines and self-publishing.

Curiosity Club:  Children and cats see it- this is not just a box!  Explore the possibilities of everything that cardboard cube can be.  We will supply the boxes, kid friendly tools, markers and tape.

[For ages 6-14] Calling all little Makers! Along with access to all of the Albany Made Lab equipment, Mini Makers will be able to use some of our favorite Youth Services gadgets and tools.

[Ages 4-12] Come play with our favorite Early Literacy Coding Robots! We'll have Sammy the Coding Robot, Botley the Coding Robot, KIBO 10, Bee-Bot, Cubetto, and Code & Go Robot Mouse! Walk-ins welcome; no registration necessary.

[Ages 4-9] Ponds are exciting places to see how life cycles may take many forms.

[Ages 7-11]  Say "Cheese!"   A Cornell Educator is joining us to teach us about dairy cheesemaking.  We will make our own cheese, then enjoy it with some crackers.

*Vegan cheese will also be offered for tasting.

This workshop is designed to provide kids ages 5 - 10 a fun introduction to money management topics.  Through activities and stories, we explore attitudes about money, how to set goals, the importance of saving, and making good spending choic

[Ages 4-8] Join us with Barbara Lukas from WMHT to enjoy the story of The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle and make some crafts to take home! Plus, you can take the book!

Registration is required as supplies and space are limited.

[Ages 5-12]  Meet Nina, the dog!  A Cornell Educator is bringing her dog, Nina to Bach.  We will learn all about pet care and best of all we can pet Nina's soft fur.
