[For ages 0-10 and their caregivers.] National Fire Prevention Week is October 5-11 this year, and we're celebrating by bringing an Albany Fire Department truck to the library!

Bring some fall cheer into your home with a handmade fall leaf garland, made with vintage book pages and colorful paper. Explore your creativity while creating something beautiful for your home or office.

[0-5] Join us for a good time at our Growing Readers Ducks and Bubbles Party!

After we read some fun bathtime stories, children will have the chance to play duck themed activities, play with bubbles, and create bubbles of their own.

[For ages 5-14] Calling all little Makers! Along with access to all of the Albany Made Lab equipment, Mini Makers will be able to use some of our favorite Youth Services gadgets and tools.

[Adults 18+] Join us for our relaxing monthly art workshop. No experience needed, just bring your creativity! Enjoy a soothing atmosphere and good company while you design and unwind.

[For Adults and Children Ages 6+] Calling all Artists, Crafters, Makers and Menders! Stop by the self-directed open hours and start (or finish) something!

Join us every Tuesday after school for crafts and fun at Arbor Hill West Hill!

[Ages 18+] Bring your knitting, crochet, needle work, coloring, or any other craft you've been working on to our monthly meeting where we talk, laugh, and enjoy a movie. 

[Adults 18+] We welcome any kind of knitting, crocheting, quilting or needlework. Is it a hobby that you enjoyed in the past and would like to get back to? You can bring a project that you’re working on, or one that you want to start.

Create a bookmark inspired by your favorite banned book! Use a mix of colorful fabric, felt, and thread to make a bookmark that represents a book that has been widely banned or challenged.

LIGHTS. CAMERA. ACTION! 

Join us once a month as we work together to put on a show designed by you. 

[For Adults and Children Ages 6+] Calling all Artists, Crafters, Makers and Menders! Stop by the self-directed open Makerspace and start (or finish) something!

[Adults] Do you like to paint in a group setting?  Here is your chance!  Each session will provide a still life for inspiration.  Canvas and paints will be provided.

[For Adults and Teens ages 14+] Not sure how to hem a pair of pants? Need a second opinion on your current sewing project? Want someone to show you how to sew a button? Ask Celia and Katie!

Children's [Ages 5-11] It is Fall! Drop by the Delaware branch to make a paper plate scarecrow craft! We will be decorating paper plates to look like a scare crow face. All you need to bring is your imagination!
