[Adults 18+] Do you want to learn how to take flight with Delaware's new drones? Come take some flight lessons! Space is limited; registration is necessary. Please register online, or call the library at 518-427-4300 ext. 4

This program presents four marine invertebrates while discussing their anatomical adaptations for survival in varying habitats, as well as their roles in the food chain, and how to preserve the species.

[Ages 5-11] A traveling pond will “splash” its way into your library with live fish, salamanders, frogs and insects. Children will be able to touch live animals and will learn how these animals survive in a watery environment. 

[For ages 5-11.] Have we got a challenge for you! Spend your afternoon in the library working on special building challenges using only KEVA Planks.

[For All Ages] Calling all Artists, Musicians, Crafters, Makers and Menders! Stop by the self-directed open Makerspace and start (or finish) something!

[Ages 11+] Come set up an obstacle course out of everyday items & steer our new Library Drones through it! We'll divide into teams for this as evenly as we can.

[Ages 3-7 and their Caregivers] WMHT Educator, Barbara Lukas will teach us about the fascinating world of coral reefs.  After watching a video about coral reefs, we will make a coral reef sculpture.

[For Ages 6 - 14] Calling all little Makers! Along with access to all of the Albany Made Lab equipment, Mini Makers will be abke to use some of our favorite Youth Services gadgets and tools.

[Ages 6-12] Are you curious about how people lived in Albany long ago?  Archeologist, Matthew Kirk is bringing  samples from local digs for you to handle.
