Week Calendar

[Ages 0-6 and their Caregivers]  Come to Bach for a fun and educational storytime full of silliness, singing and movement.  Then, stay to play!

[Ages 1-4] Come join Gruff the friendly storytime monster and his human librarian side-kick for fun stories, silly songs, and dancing. Bring your energy and your little one and get all the wiggles out! 

[Ages 0-24 months] Join us for fun songs and short books to introduce your baby to storytime! We will meet in the community room, and babies and their caregivers are welcome to stay and play after storytime.

[For ages 0-10 and their caregivers.] Today is all about boats! We'll start with a boat-themed storytime, then create boats of our own to see how they float. Be prepared to get wet!

[For Ages 0-5] Join us for stories, songs, and movement activities. Bring the whole family and enjoy Saturday at the library!

[For ages 0-5] Calling all parents, care-givers, and day-care providers! Bring your babies and toddlers for a fun half hour of stories, rhymes, and songs! 

[For Ages 5-13] Color your world by crafting a creative, positive self-portrait of yourself through found items. See how art is all around us and how the objects we use define us! 

[For ages 5-17] Come chill out & watch The Sandlot in the youth services room with popcorn and popsicles. Play ball!

[Ages 4-18] Come celebrate the end of school by building with large foam blocks! Try your hand at engineering a masterpiece of architecture. This will be an outdoor event, weather permitting. No registration required.

[For ages 6-14] Calling all little Makers! Along with access to all of the Albany Made Lab equipment, Mini Makers will be able to use some of our favorite Youth Services gadgets and tools.

Come create your own musical adventure with Ruth Pelham and the Music Mobile. We'll be singing songs, building a musical instrument from recycled materials, and building a sense of community and cultural understanding.  For all ages.

Join us every Tuesday all summer for crafts and fun at Arbor Hill West Hill!

[Ages 4+] Come take our LEGO challenge and solve a simple engineering problem in the first half hour. Then, use your imagination and free play with our LEGO sets for the second half of the program. This is a drop-in program.

[Ages 9-17] Hang out at the library and play Switch games with your friends!

[Ages 5-11] After LEGO Club, stay another half hour, choose your favorite frozen fruits and make your own dairy-free ice cream in seconds! Learn about new fruits you've never tried! Walk-ins welcome, while supplies last.

[Ages 2-7] Join us in your jammies for Pajama Storytime!  We will read books, sing songs, and have lots of cozy fun!

[For ages 6-14] Minecraft beginners and experts: come build your world and characters in a weekly Minecraft competition with your friends at the APL Washington Ave. Branch.
