[For ages 18+] Are you a fiber crafter? Does your family have all the hand knitted or crocheted hats, scarves, mittens, or shawls that they could possibly use in this lifetime?

[Adults 18+] We welcome any kind of knitting, crocheting, quilting or needlework. Is it a hobby that you enjoyed in the past and would like to get back to? You can bring a project that you’re working on, or one that you want to start.

[0-5] Join us for a good time at our Growing Readers Ducks and Bubbles Party!

After we read some fun bathtime stories, children will have the chance to play duck themed activities, play with bubbles, and create bubbles of their own.

Drop by the Delaware branch with your child so they can make a paper plate scarecrow! 
We will be decorating paper plates to look like a scarecrow face. 
All they need to bring is their imagination!

[For Adults and Children Ages 6+] Calling all Artists, Crafters, Makers and Menders! Stop by the self-directed open hours and start (or finish) something!

Stop by and make your own Banned Books button to round out (pun moderately intended) Banned Books Week! We've got circular stencils and premade collage sheets full of banned and challenged book covers.

We have video games, anime, and potential make crafts! A place to hang with friends after school.

[For ages 5-14] Calling all little Makers! Along with access to all of the Albany Made Lab equipment, Mini Makers will be able to use some of our favorite Youth Services gadgets and tools.

Join us every Tuesday after school for crafts and fun at Arbor Hill West Hill!

Learn to sew! This class is hosted by Stitch Exchange. Newly arrived immigrants volunteer as sewing instructors and assist you with your sewing projects while practicing their English language skills.

Join us for our relaxing monthly art workshop. No experience needed, just bring your creativity! Enjoy a soothing atmosphere and good company while you design and unwind.

[Ages 18+] Bring your knitting, crochet, needle work, coloring, or any other craft you've been working on to our monthly meeting where we talk, laugh, and enjoy a movie. 

Create a bookmark inspired by your favorite banned book! Use a mix of colorful fabric, felt, and thread to make a bookmark that represents a book that has been widely banned or challenged.

[Adults] Do you like to paint in a group setting?  Here is your chance!  Each session will provide a still life for inspiration.  Canvas and paints will be provided.
