Art at APL Opening Reception

[All Ages] Repeat Play: The Art of Pattern Dec 6 - May 10, 2024

Repeat Play brings together 9 artists who use repetitive shapes, marks, and colors to create systems and interrelationships that dazzle the eyes. Formally, repetitive patterns can be used to unify a work of art and keep the viewer’s eyes moving about the piece. These artists bring to mind all the patterns we see in our daily lives, and how the inventive mind of an artist is behind many of them. The evening will also feature the RK Jazz and Blues, an all-female jazz trio, and light fare.
