[Ages 8 and up] Bach is bringing out the chess sets and other board games, come play!  You are encouraged to bring a partner!

[Ages 18+] The City of Albany's new Department of Neighborhood Services wants to hear from you! Please stop by the Delaware Branch to meet with Tabora Marcus, the Delaware Neighborhood Specialist.

[For Adults] Register for a 30-minute session with a Computer Aide to learn the basics of computers or ask questions in a one-on-one setting. Get assistance with resumes, internet skills, mobile devices,  Google Drive, and more.

[For Ages 6 - 14] Calling all little Makers! Along with access to all of the Albany Made Lab equipment, Mini Makers will be abke to use some of our favorite Youth Services gadgets and tools.

[For ages 3-7] Join us for a sensory friendly storytime with interactive stories, songs, dance, and play! 

[For Ages 2-4] Join us for an early morning story where we will sing, dance and socialize!

[Ages 2-5] Come on down to the historic Howe Branch of the Albany Public library for a read-along, sing-along Storytime.

[For adults] English as a new language can be challenging and there is always room for improvement.

[Ages 2-6 and Caregivers]  Come on over to play with the parachute, crawl through the pop up tunnels and do other activities to get the wiggles out.

[For Adults] Classes are provided to help students improve English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Classes are free to students age 21 year or older.

[Ages 5-17] Kids love reading to Rocket, certified therapy dog. Why? Because he's soft, cuddly and a good listener.

[Ages 11-17] We've got Super Smash, Minecraft, Rocket League and more! Play with or against your friends!

[For Ages 5-11] Refresh with a tasty after school snack then enjoy a variety of different toys, games, and activities!

APL is joined by the Albany County Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center to present a book discussion of The Sewing Girl's Tale and as a bonus author John Wood Sweet will be Zooming in for a Q & A session!

[Ages 2-7] Join us in your jammies for Pajama Storytime with Miss Melissa. We will read books, sing songs, and have lots of cozy fun!

[Ages 2-5] Join us for stories, songs & fun for preschoolers and their caregivers every week at the Delaware Branch. Walk-ins welcome. 

[Ages 0-24 months] Join Ms Melissa for fun songs and short books to introduce your baby to storytime! We will meet in the community room, and babies and their caregivers are welcome to stay and play after storytime.

[For ages 0-5 and their caregivers.] Have fun playing at the library with your family! We'll have our usual Play & Grow toys available along with special toys just for this weekly open-play program!

[Ages 0-5] Every week after preschool storytime-- stay & play! 

Let your little ones tap into their imaginations during this unstructured play time. Kids can play with our toy kitchen, blocks, dolls, train sets & more!
