Art at APL Opening Reception

“Observing Place” June 6- Nov. 8, 2025

In conjunction with “Compass Roses,” a show of artist-made maps on view at Opalka Gallery at Russell Sage College in the Fall of 2025, “Observing Place” presents artists whose close observations yield vivid, humorous, and poignant depictions of the everyday world. 

The evening will also feature music by the Pine Hills Band and light fare. 

The Art at APL program is curated by Opalka Gallery of Sage College of Albany, and is generously funded by the Friends and Foundation at APL.
