Program Description
Event Details
This event invites artists and crafters of all skill levels to bring their surplus supplies and tools to exchange with fellow enthusiasts. Whether you’re a seasoned artisan or just starting your crafting journey, this is a perfect opportunity to declutter, discover new materials, and connect with like-minded individuals.
Items can include anything from yarn, fabrics, jewelry making supplies, paints, paper, and tools in gently used, new, or otherwise good condition. You do not need to bring anything to attend the swap, but it is encouraged.
What NOT to bring: Anything moldy, dirty, broken or extremely heavy. Hazardous materials such as oil-based solvents, dry paint tubes, or house paint should stay at home.
For questions or to schedule a time to drop off donations in advance, contact Susan Palmer or Bailey Durham at washingtonave@albanypubliclibrary.org. Anything left-over will be donated to Grassroots Givers or used for library programming. No registration.
*STEM/STEAM programs involve programming that covers Science, Technology, Engineering, (Arts) and Math.
