[For Adults] Join us as we create paintings inspired by the artist Alma Woodsey Thomas to celebrate Black History Month. Alma Thomas was an artist known for her large, abstract paintings filled with dense, irregular patterns of bright colors. "At the height of the Civil Rights movement, Thomas’s work focused purely on the wonder and sublime quality of the natural world." - Smithsonian Museum of Art
We will be creating paintings inspired by her colorful, abstract works with acrylic paint on canvas. Supplies will be provided. Registration required.
