Event Details

[All Ages] Join us for an artist's workshop to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Bring a piece of art to share and receive feedback from members of the local visual arts community. These include artist/teacher Melissa Thompson, born in Argentina; Mexican-American visual artist Edwing Gomez Flores; and Martinez Gallery owner Laudelina Martinez. They will be on site to respond and interpret the artwork you bring.  The work should be in the theme of Hispanic Heritage or in the style of a Hispanic Artist. Prints, fine art photographs, sculptures, drawings, and paintings on paper, canvas, or others in a variety of mediums are all welcomed. This is a great opportunity to gain a sense of community and hear what those experienced in the arts see in your artwork.
