[For Adults] Many of us have relatively inexpensive books whose damages keep us from reading them. Although “quick fixes’ are frequently advertised, most of these will do additional harm to the book in the long run.
There are simple, safe, and cost-effective ways to mend several types of damage to inexpensive books. These methods will also protect the books from further harm.
Join Ann Kearney Coordinator of Preservation Services University of Albany on March 29th to learn about mending loose joints on hardback books. Sample books, repair tools, and materials will be provided.
