[Ages 18+] Are you into movies? Perhaps you enjoy cult classics! Welcome to:

Cinemania! Now in 3D!

The thrill of 3D to the big screen!

Experience classic red-and-blue (Anaglyph) 3D visuals in an unforgettable movie night. And yes, the movie will be projected on a massive 10-by-6-foot silver screen, because big screens are for big dreams.

This month's film is a true gem, the Cult Classic Dark Side of the Rainbow. The movie The Wizard of Oz (1939) with the soundtrack replaced by Pink Floyd’s album The Dark Side of the Moon (1973).

3D glasses will be provided at the event.

Syncing sound and image is a common and easy trick, but what happens with The Dark Side of the Moon and The Wizard of Oz goes far beyond that. Here, the album’s themes resonate deeply with the film’s narrative and visuals. This alignment creates more than a clever coincidence; it transforms the way we interpret both works, giving new meaning to the music and the movie through their unexpected connection.

Join us at the Pine Hills Branch as we revisit some of the coolest cult movies ever produced. We will enjoy the weird, the strange and (sometimes) the poorly made films that we all love so much!
