Centennial Movie Series: The Big Short (2015)

Centennial Movie Series: In April, the 2010s and 2020s. We're showing a movie from each decade that Albany Public Library has been around. On Saturday April 6th, we're showing: The Big Short (2015); This adaptation of the nonfiction book "The Big Short" explores the 2008 financial crisis through the lens of four unorthodox moneymen, who foresaw the consequences of the fraudulent mortgage-lending practices of large banks on Wall Street. Cast: Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt, Karen Gillan.
