Centennial Movie Series: In February, the 1970s and 1980s. We're showing a movie from each decade that Albany Public Library has been around. On Saturday February 17th, we're showing "E.T." (1982). "A lonely boy befriends a homesick alien stranded on Earth and attempts to help him find a way home. Meanwhile, a group of government scientists attempt to capture the benevolent visitor for research. Won Oscars for sound, visual effects and score."
