Are you curious about composting, but don’t know where to start? Are you a veteran composter, but looking for different perspectives? Come and learn the simple science and practice behind traditional forms of composting, and also vermicomposting—using worms to create a rich soil amendment! There are many options available, even systems that work in the smallest apartments. This workshop will include a live worm farm demonstration, Q&A session, and some great discussion!
Our presenter Richard Daley, is a gardener and ecological educator dedicated to encouraging the cultivation of knowledge and skills that will help people collectively achieve a regenerative future. With more than fifteen years in the field of education, and having worked both in executive leadership and educational positions, he has reached people of all ages within private and public schools and colleges, nonprofits and community organizations, and has coordinated and directed volunteer action and community projects at the regional scale.
