{For Adults] July 4, 2026, marks the 250th anniversary of the birth of the USA. To prepare for this milestone, Albany County created a commission to plan the county’s commemoration. Albany County Historian Jack McEneny will lead a talk on the Commission’s plans for 2026 (and beyond!), while sharing revolutionary historic stories unique to Albany.
He will also share how interested citizens, and local historical associations can get involved and stay informed during the early planning stages.
