[Ages 5-14] March 4th was Pancake Race Day. This day is celebrated in England as a way to use up food before the fasting season of Lent. The races are a tradition that involve participants running down the street while flipping a pancake in a frying pan. The goal is to reach the finish line first while carrying the pancake and pan. Come join us in keeping the tradition alive; we're going to make our own play pans & pancakes and then race through an obstacle course while flipping our flap jacks! Then we'll enjoy some afternoon pancakes as a reward. Sign up is required; supplies are limited. Please call the library at 518-427-4300 ext. 4 or sign up on-line.
