[Adults] Do you like to discuss big ideas? Do you want talk with others in our community about the history of how we think about truth, love, reason, ethics, and even what it means to be human? Join us each month as we dive into the works of both ancient and modern philosophers.

In September, we will be reading The Enchiridion (or handbook) by Greek philosopher Epictetus, which was kind of like a self-help book that was popular in the ancient world. What advice sounds familiar or outlandish today? Join us and find out!

All participants are welcome, including those who are unable to read the entire selection before the meeting. No previous experience or knowledge is needed to participate.
