Women in the Arts

Women's Issues and the Arts is a group that will meets on the first and third Thursday each month, with the first meeting of the month being designated to special workshops. Discussions will concern past and contemporary women's issues and the methods through which writers and artists have dealt with the societal challenges facing women. Participants will have the opportunity to share their concerns and ideas and are encouraged to share their own creativity in the form of writing, painting, collage, photography, etc., that they use to deal with the stresses of today.
