[Ages 1-4] Come join Gruff the friendly storytime monster and his human librarian side-kick for fun stories, silly songs, and dancing. Bring your energy and your little one and get all the wiggles out! 

[For adults] English as a new language can be challenging and there is always room for improvement.

Join APL on a guided tour at Albany Institute of History and Art. Enrich your experience of our current exhibitions through an insightful docent-led tour of the galleries.

[For Adults] Classes are provided to help students improve English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Classes are free to students age 21 year or older.

Celebrate National Nonfiction Day by getting a taste of some new-to-you nonfiction! Take 2 minutes to skim each of a variety of nonfiction works and discuss what you've learned after!

[For ages 5-17] Ever want to build a car that flies? Or a house with a tail? We have bricks and building challenges for every level of LEGO builder.

Calm your body and mind as you join us for weekly Nighttime yoga for kids, where we would learn 3 new yoga poses and learning breathing technique. 

Students’ grades K-12 can meet with a student tutor from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and University at Albany for a half an hour tutoring session. Tutors can offer homework help, worksheets, and test prep.  

[For Adults] This class is designed for adult newcomers to Albany who have some basic English language skills and are looking to improve their fluency and communication abilities.
