Join us at the North Albany branch for our monthly yap and craft sesh! Bring your current knitting, crochet, needle point, or other fiber arts craft. New to fiber arts? We can teach you the basics!

[For ages 0-18 months] Please join us in our Youth Services Room for stories, fingerplays, songs, and rhymes for children ages 0 to 18 months and their caregiver.

Bring your device & your questions and we'll figure it out together. This is a one-on-one help session. Registration is required; call 518-427-4300, ext. 4 to register, or register online. Tech Help is offered every Monday. 

Come Join us at the Howe Branch or on Zoom to get some light movement in to start your week off right! Please Make sure to bring a water bottle, walking shoes and to wear comfortable clothing for movement i.e. Leggings and a tee shirt.

Calling all parents, care-givers, and day-care providers! Bring your babies and toddlers for a fun half hour of stories, rhymes, and songs! 

Bring your latest fiber art project and meet with like-minded crafty people. Open to beginners as librarian Jamie O. will have needles and yarn to teach the basics of knitting and crochet. No registration necessary.

[For adults] The City of Albany's Department of Neighborhood Services wants to hear from you! Please stop by the Pine Hills Branch to meet with Ken Louzier, the Neighborhood Specialist for Pine Hills. 

[Ages 13-17] Hang out with fellow teen artists every Monday after school and use art supplies to doodle, sketch, or make whatever kind of art you want! In addition, every week will feature examples from notable artists and artistic movements.

[For ages 5-14] Calling all little Makers! Along with access to all of the Albany Made Lab equipment, Mini Makers will be able to use some of our favorite Youth Services gadgets and tools.

[For ages 8 - 11] Join us for our gender-inclusive discussion about consent and boundaries!

Warm weather and fresh breezes are here! If your windows are still closed due to tears and holes in your screens, the City of Albany's Love Your Block program can help. 

Warm up your drawing hand and explore the fundamentals of figure drawing. We welcome a guest live model as our subject of focus. Supplies will be provided.
