[For ages 0-2] Please join Youth Services staff for stories, fingerplays, songs, and rhymes for the youngest children, from birth to eighteen months. 

[For ages 0-4] Please join us in the Large Meeting Room for stories, fingerplays, songs and rhymes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, and their caregivers.

[Ages 2-6 and their Caregivers]  Come on over to Bach for a fun and interactive Storytime full of singing and movement. After the Storytime there will be time for free play!

[Ages 2-5] Come on down to the historic Howe Branch of the Albany Public library for a read-along, sing-along Storytime.

[For adults] English as a new language can be challenging and there is always room for improvement.

[For ages 0 - 5 and their caregivers] Hang out with us for a weekly bilingual storytime with your favorite fuzzy monster, Gruff, and his librarian side-kick. We'll be reading books and singing songs in both English and Spanish.

[Ages 2-5] Join us for stories, songs & fun for preschoolers and their caregivers every week at the Delaware Branch. No registration required.

[For ages 0-5] NEW Storytime! Join us for some weekend storytime fun. We'll be sharing stories, singing songs, learning new rhymes, and shaking our sillies out.

[For ages 2+ and their caregivers] Join us for stories and songs, nursery rhymes and folktales, as well as movement activities and finger plays.

[For ages 0-2] Join us for unstructured play-time with sensory blocks, cars, balls, and much more!

[Ages 0-5] Every week after preschool storytime-- stay & play! 

Let your little ones tap into their imaginations during this unstructured play time. Kids can play with our toy kitchen, blocks, dolls, train sets & more!

[For adults] Schedule a 1 hour, one-on-one appointment with the Librarian for assistance with your technology questions. We can help from how to use your phone to computers. Please have your questions ready before the appointment.

[For ages: 18 and up] We will be making your own Teddy Bear. In this two hour program, we will pick and cut out fabric, sew up the bears, and stuff them. We will provide fabric, but you are more than welcome to bring your own!

[Teens and Adults] Dungeons & Dragons has been around for decades, but with the recent movie Honor Among Thieves, and TV shows Critical Role and Stranger Things, its popularity is at an all-time high.

Learn how to express yourself clearly and imaginatively, share your work, and respond to the stories of others. Attend any or all sessions. Facilitated by Misty Yarnall.

We're showing a movie for each decade Albany Public has been around. November we're showing, The pre-Code Mystery-Comedy classic, The Thin Man Starring William Powell and Myrna Loy.
