[For ages 0-2] Please join Youth Services staff for stories, fingerplays, songs, and rhymes for the youngest children, from birth to eighteen months. 

[For ages 0-4] Please join us in the Large Meeting Room for stories, fingerplays, songs and rhymes for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, and their caregivers.

[For Adults] Join other parents with your child(ren) for free play & casual discussion at the Delaware Branch on Monday mornings. Coffee will be provided. 

[Ages 0-6 and their Caregivers]  Come on over to Bach for a fun and silly Storytime full of singing and movement.  After the Storytime there will be time for free play.

[Ages 2-5] Come on down to the historic Howe Branch of the Albany Public library for a read-along, sing-along Storytime.

[For adults] English as a new language can be challenging and there is always room for improvement.

[Adults]  Stop by and learn about the services offered by the NNORC community organization.

[For ages 0 - 5 and their caregivers] Hang out with us for a weekly bilingual storytime with your favorite fuzzy monster, Gruff, and his librarian side-kick. We'll be reading books and singing songs in both English and Spanish.

[Ages 2-5] Join us for stories, songs & fun for preschoolers and their caregivers every week at the Delaware Branch. No registration required.

[Ages 0-24 months] Join Ms Melissa for fun songs and short books to introduce your baby to storytime! We will meet in the community room, and babies and their caregivers are welcome to stay and play after storytime.

[For ages 0-5] Calling all parents, care-givers, and day-care providers! Bring your babies and toddlers for a fun half hour of stories, rhymes, and songs! 

[For Adults of all ages and abilities] Learn simple, gentle Tai chi movements to improve coordination and balance. Enjoy these mindful, safe movements and the deeper breathing and flexibility they can enable.

[For ages 1-4] Please join us for stories, fingerplays, songs, and rhymes for toddlers and their caregiver.

[For children 0-8 and their caregivers.] Celebrate "Take Your Child to the Library Day" by making your own Play-doh creations! Play-doh and tools provided.

[For ages 2+ and their caregivers] Join us for stories and songs, nursery rhymes and folktales, as well as movement activities and finger plays.

February 3rd is take your child to the library day. Celebrate with Saturday morning cartoons and a mix of your favorite cereal.

Centennial Movie Series: In February, the 1970s and 1980s. We're showing a movie from each decade that Albany Public Library has been around. On Saturday February 3rd, we're showing "Julia" (1977).
