[For Teens] Not a Number is an interactive child trafficking and exploitation prevention curriculum designed to provide youth with information and skills in a manner that inspires them to make safe choices.

Hey Tweens/Teens! This intro to braiding class will introduce you to the origin and techniques of braiding. Beginning with a foundation in parting, the class will move to box braids and corn rolls, taught by a professional hair stylist!

[Ages 5-17] Drop by the library and do some summer Sand Art! We'll have jars and pictures, while supplies last. 

[For ages 11-17] Come test your Smash Bros. skills against friends and rivals in one-on-one practice matches and a tournament. Top three fighters will win prizes, and first place wins a trophy.

[Ages 5-17] Kids love reading to Rocket, certified therapy dog. Why? Because he's soft, cuddly and a good listener.

We will have time for tweens and teens to play video games, watch anime, and maybe throw in some crafts! 

[For Ages 6 - 14] Calling all little Makers! Along with access to all of the Albany Made Lab equipment, Mini Makers will be abke to use some of our favorite Youth Services gadgets and tools.

[Ages 11 -17] We've got Super Smash, Minecraft, Rocketleague and more! Play with or against your friends! 
 

[Ages 6-12]  Our Abstract Art Adventure will include various paints and other objects such as string, plastic and things from nature. Come along on this adventure and discover the unique artist in you! 

[For Ages 11 to 17] A space welcoming all gamers 11 to 17 and all game types. We have board games to play, wi-fi for your DS battle, Xbox One and Switch on a big screen, and lots of tables and chairs to fit large-group games.

[For Ages 13-17] Clash your favorite gaming icons in the ultimate showdown. Tweens and Teens are invited to bring their friends and play Super Smash. Come see if you are good enough to beat our library gamers!

[For ages 9-17] Play various video games including Smash Brothers, Tekken, Mariokart, NBA 2K22 on the Nintendo Switch, XBox or PS4 with your friends! 

[For ages 6-14] Minecraft beginners and experts: come build your world and characters in a weekly Minecraft competition with your friends at the APL Washington Ave. Branch.

Join us for live music in the garden. Sling Shot are a local funk and R&B band performing songs from the 1960s and beyond. Seating is limited. You are more than welcome to bring your own lawn chair.
