[For Teens] Not a Number is an interactive child trafficking and exploitation prevention curriculum designed to provide youth with information and skills in a manner that inspires them to make safe choices.

[Ages 5-11] Inpsired by the art of Mark Dion and Alexis Rockman, this program features an art lesson and craft about our threatened natural world. Participants will be invited to create their own shadow box seascapes, with watercolors. 

[Ages 6-13]   A "Fractured Fairy Tale"  is a fairy tale that is just a little bit wacky.

[For ages 7-17.] Have you ever marveled at a professional balloon twister? Here's your chance to learn how to twist balloons yourself! Balloon Gal Jenny will teach you how to make your very own balloon creation!

[Ages 5-17] Kids love reading to Rocket, certified therapy dog. Why? Because he's soft, cuddly and a good listener.

[Ages 6-12]

We will have time for tweens and teens to play video games, watch anime, and maybe throw in some crafts! 

[For Ages 6 - 14] Calling all little Makers! Along with access to all of the Albany Made Lab equipment, Mini Makers will be abke to use some of our favorite Youth Services gadgets and tools.

[Ages 11 -17] We've got Super Smash, Minecraft, Rocketleague and more! Play with or against your friends! 
 

[For Ages 11 to 17] A space welcoming all gamers 11 to 17 and all game types. We have board games to play, wi-fi for your DS battle, Xbox One and Switch on a big screen, and lots of tables and chairs to fit large-group games.

[For Ages 13-17] Clash your favorite gaming icons in the ultimate showdown. Tweens and Teens are invited to bring their friends and play Super Smash. Come see if you are good enough to beat our library gamers!

[For ages 9-17] Play various video games including Smash Brothers, Tekken, Mariokart, NBA 2K22 on the Nintendo Switch, XBox or PS4 with your friends! 

[Ages 11-17] Come celebrate and share your love of anime and manga with other teens while snacking on Pocky.

[Ages 11-17] Join up with our library staff and participate in a series of creative excercises that explore, art, literature, and performance.

[For ages 6-14] Minecraft beginners and experts: come build your world and characters in a weekly Minecraft competition with your friends at the APL Washington Ave. Branch.

Visit Bach in our garden to listen to Brenda Fisher & Friends a trio led by Brenda Fisher on guitar, vocals and harmonica performing Roots, Country and Blues. Thanks to Music Performance Trust Fund.
