Week Calendar

(Ages 2-7)  Join us in the Bach Garden for a fun family storytime with songs and movement.  Stay after the storytime to play in the garden.  In case of rain we will move inside.

[For ages 0-8 and their caregivers.] Bring your blankets or chairs, and join us in Washington Park for stories, fingerplays, songs, and rhymes!

Come Join us at the Howe Branch  to get some light movement in to start your week off right! Please Make sure to bring a water bottle, walking shoes and to wear comfortable clothing for movement i.e. Leggings and a tee shirt.

Join APL at Dept of Rec's for a Back-To-School Fun Day!

[Ages 5-11] Presenters from Dyken Pond Environmental Education center will exhibit animal furs and skulls to teach about mammals that are native to New York State. Participants will also make a plaster track for their collection. 

[Ages 5-17] Get creative with temporary body art! Use our colorful tattoo markers—featuring stencils, glitter, and black light-reflective options—to design your own unique look.

[For Teens] Not a Number is an interactive child trafficking and exploitation prevention curriculum designed to provide youth with information and skills in a manner that inspires them to make safe choices.

July 14: Cardboard Tapestry Weaving                                

(Ages 4 and Up) Back by popular demand-it's our local Dynasty Wrestlers! This family friendly group of colorful athletes will read a story and do a craft with you.  

Join us as we embark on a hands-on learning experience with reptiles from around the world. 

Registration is required as space is limited

[For ages 9-17] Play various video games including Smash Brothers, Tekken, Mariokart, NBA 2K22 on the Nintendo Switch, XBox or PS4 with your friends! 

Come to the North Albany Branch and create your own Gratitude Box. We will discuss manifesting joy and creating gratitude for the things around you. We will then decorate a box with magazines, paint, and more.
