Week Calendar

(Ages 2-7)  Join us in the Bach Garden for a fun family storytime with songs and movement.  Stay after the storytime to play in the garden.  In case of rain we will move inside.

[For ages 0-8 and their caregivers.] Bring your blankets or chairs, and join us in Washington Park for stories, fingerplays, songs, and rhymes!

[Ages 2-5] Join us after storytime to build with large foam blocks! This is an outdoor event (weather-permitting). No registration necessary.

Come Join us at the Howe Branch  to get some light movement in to start your week off right! Please Make sure to bring a water bottle, walking shoes and to wear comfortable clothing for movement i.e. Leggings and a tee shirt.

[Ages 5-11] In this program, students will explore the world of building, design, and engineering through fun challenges and construction activities. Can you build it? Yes, you can!

[Ages 4-8] Join us with Barbara Lukas from WMHT to learn All About Dinosaurs and make some dinosaur fossil impressions to take home! Plus, you can take the book!

Registration is required as supplies and space are limited.

Create your own pendulum & selenite chakra. Each attendee will craft a personalized tool that resonates with their energy by using crystals, metals, and cords.

[5-17] For summer 2025, the Tang presents Ghost Adventures, a project inspired by Tyson Reeder’s painting in the Tang collection called Ghost River.

[Ages 5-11] B-4 summer ends come to the North Albany branch to wrap up Summer Reading where we'll be dabbing our way through musical hits for a special music bingo.

 Registration is recommended. 

[For ages 9-17] Play various video games including Smash Brothers, Tekken, Mariokart, NBA 2K22 on the Nintendo Switch, XBox or PS4 with your friends! 

All are invited to the library to create a beaded bookmark! Color, collage, or sketch a fun bookmark, then string together a beaded tassel from our wide assortment of bead options! Staff will laminate the bookmark and help assemble.

[Ages 6+] APL and the Center for Law and Justice are proud to present a family movie night experience, followed by community conversation led by the Center for Law and Justice.
