After School Tutoring (Grades K-12)

Students’ grades K-12 can meet with a student tutor from the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and University at Albany for a half an hour tutoring session. Tutors can offer homework help, worksheets, and test prep.  

Please note: Students can sign up for one session a day and two sessions a week maximum. 

Before you sign up, Parents/Guardians/Caregivers please complete this 2024-2025 Tutoring Permission Form for Caregivers to use this tutoring service. You will need to fill this out once for every new school year. Without completing this Permission Form, your child will not be appointed for tutoring.  

Once you have completed the Permission Form, please fill out this Tutoring Sign Up Form. With this form, we ask for:  

• Your child’s full name 
• Your email and phone number 
• The child’s grade and subject(s) they need help with 
• The Library Branch most convenient for you
• Day of the week and times you prefer for tutoring

Once you have completed the form, you will hear from our Tutoring Team within 48 hours (about 2 days).
