Book Buddies

[Ages 4-8] Visit the Pine Hill Branch library and explore our extensive picture book collection! Each week our "Book Buddies" will read pre-selected books featuring award winning authors. Every session will end with an art project or activity inspired by the author/illustrator for that week. 

This week we welcome children's book author Kay Mijangos to read us a story she wrote "Looking for Cherries", based on the philosophy of life and art of the extraordinary artist Alberto Mijangos. Stay after the reading to participate in a craft.
