Book Buddies

[For Ages 4-8] Become a member of our weekly book club! Parents will receive support and guidance on early literacy practices, including how to support their readers at home. Each book will feature a different author or theme and a fun craft! 

*This week will feature a special guest from Albany County for a reading of ‘Big’ by Vashti Harrison, a children’s picture book that follow’s a child’s journey to self-love. Sometimes, we might feel too big or like we take up too much space in a world that values being small. As we read through the story, discuss themes together, and work through an activity, we will see what ‘taking up space’ might really look like, and how empowering that can be.’
