STEM/STEAMProgram Description
Event Details
Come and create! We'll offer various building kits for children to explore and use to design whatever comes to their imagination. This self-paced, unstructured building-enthusiast meet-up fosters creativity, fine motor skills and socialization as we share and build together. Engaging with blocks supports early childhood development by enhancing mathematical thinking (shapes, sorting), enhancing fine motor control, encouraging spatial reasoning, and developing emotional skills through creative expression. We'll offer diverse building materials for all ages, allowing children to play, learn, share and create freely twice a week at the library. No registration necessary-- just drop in! This program recurs every 2nd & 4th Friday of the month.
