Tai Chi for Balance, Relaxation, and Energy
Come learn gentle, safe, and enjoyable movements that improve balance, posture, and breathing—a relaxing experience for the whole body supporting overall wellness. Relaxing and energizing at the same time, tai chi can help you improve your balance and be more confident in all your movements. Tai chi is for everyone and can be learned by people of any age; the class can also be done seated. Beginners are always welcome.
Thursdays: Sept. 11, 18, 25, and Oct. 9, 16, and 23, from 1-2 pm.
Instructor: Sabine Seiler, PhD, is a tai chi instructor certified by the Tai Chi for Health Institute. She has been sharing her knowledge of tai chi for many years and is teaching throughout the Capital Region.
The Wellness series at the Pine Hills branch will offer library patrons the chance to try out different health and wellness modalities - meditation, tai chi, yoga, etc. - aimed at enhancing overall well-being.
