Event Details

[18+] Embracing Me: A Book Club is a bi-monthly group focused on connecting people, creating communities, and embracing yourself no matter your size, shape, gender orientation, race, ability, and sexual orientation.

We read fiction and nonfiction focused on different aspects of how we understand our bodies and how we can work together to support each other.

Issues we may discuss are gender-based violence, eating disorders, racism, homelessness, displacement, abortion, and the rights of marginalised communities.

Join us for a bi-monthly, virtual discussion.
The January/Febuary book is Everything's Trash, But It's Okay by Phoebe Robinson

Ways to find the book: Everything's Trash, But It's Okay by Phoebe Robinson is available to request in print. It is also available as an audiobook on Libby. Call your local branch if you need help accessing the book.
**The meeting will be held via Zoom. A link and passcode to access the Zoom meeting will be sent upon registration.**

All opinions expressed during our meetings are those of the individuals and do not necessarily reflect those of Embracing Me: A Book Club and Albany Public Library.
