[Ages 2-5] Join us for stories, songs & fun for preschoolers and their caregivers every week at the Delaware Branch. Walk-ins welcome. 

[Ages 0-5] Every week after preschool storytime-- stay & play! 

Let your little ones tap into their imaginations during this unstructured play time. Kids can play with our toy kitchen, blocks, dolls, train sets & more!

May the 4th be with you and free comics too! APL and The Red Bookshelf have teamed up to provide comics and activities for jedis in training in celebration of May the 4th and the annual Free Comic Book Day.

[For All Ages] Calling all Artists, Musicians, Crafters, Makers and Menders! Stop by the self-directed open Makerspace and start (or finish) something!

[Ages 8-17] Join local comic book artist Ira Marcks as he presents a hands-on lesson in designing believable characters.

[For Ages 6 - 14] Calling all little Makers! Along with access to all of the Albany Made Lab equipment, Mini Makers will be abke to use some of our favorite Youth Services gadgets and tools.

[For Ages 5-11] Refresh with a tasty after school snack then enjoy a variety of different toys, games, and activities!

[Ages 5-12] Celebrate Albany's Tulip Festival by making a Spring watercolor painting!  Let your imagination tiptoe through the tulips or paint whatever strikes your fancy.

[Ages 4+] Use your imagination and free play with our Legos. This is a drop-in program. No registration required. This program recurs on the first Thursday of each month. 

[For Ages 7-14] Join us for a variety of activities including arts & crafts, cooking, science experiments, and MORE!
