[Ages 2-8] Do your kids like to dance and move? Do they love to read books? 

[Ages 0-5] Join us for stories, songs & fun for preschoolers and their caregivers every week at the Delaware Branch. Walk-ins welcome. 

[For ages 0-5] Please join us for stories, fingerplays, songs, and rhymes. After storytime, enjoy unstructured playtime with sensory blocks, cars, balls, and much more!

[For Ages 0-5] Join us for stories, songs, and movement activities. Bring the whole family and enjoy Saturday at the library, where we're Growing Readers.

[Ages 0-5] Every week after preschool storytime-- stay & play! 

Let your little ones tap into their imaginations during this unstructured play time. Kids can play with our toy kitchen, blocks, dolls, train sets & more!

[Adults] Bring your device & your questions and we'll figure it out together. Registration is required; call 518-427-4300, ext. 4 to register, or register online. Tech Help is offered every Monday. 

Come Join us at the Howe Branch to get some light movement in to start your week off right! Please Make sure to bring a water bottle,  walking shoes and to wear comfortable clothing for movement i.e. Leggings and a tee shirt.

Literacy Volunteers of Rensselaer County

Albany City School District will be collecting school taxes every Friday from September 6 - November 15.

[For ages 18+] Are you a fiber crafter? Does your family have all the hand knitted or crocheted hats, scarves, mittens, or shawls that they could possibly use in this lifetime?

[Ages 4-8 and their Caregivers] Join us with Barbara Lukas from WMHT to enjoy the story of How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night by Jane Yolen and make some crafts to take home!

Registration is required as supplies and space are limited.

[For Adults] Classes are provided to help students improve English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Classes are free to students age 21 year or older. 

[Ages 18+] Would you like to update or create a résumé? Having formatting nightmares? Need help tweaking or writing a cover letter? The Delaware Branch offers one-on-one sessions every Thursday between 1-2pm.

[All Ages] Watercolor is for everyone- follow your creativity! Join us for a relaxing afternoon of watercolor painting as we create our own set of holiday cards to share this season.

The City of Albany's new Department of Neighborhood Services wants to hear from you! Please stop by the North Albany Branch to meet with Lori Kochanski, the Neighborhood Specialist for North Albany. 

[Ages 5-17] Kids love reading to Rocket, certified therapy dog. Why? Because he's soft, cuddly and a good listener.

We will have time for tweens and teens to play video games, watch anime, and maybe throw in some crafts!

[For Ages 6 - 14] Calling all little Makers! Along with access to all of the Albany Made Lab equipment, Mini Makers will be abke to use some of our favorite Youth Services gadgets and tools.

Lively produce only market offers a variety of fresh farm products affordably.  Located in the back parking lot of Albany Public Library's Delaware Branch. WIC coupons and EBT cards are welcome. 

[For ages 13-17] Join us for trivia Tuesdays! Perhaps you're a master of pop culture facts or can recall a player who has worn both Mets & Yankees jerseys.

[For Ages 10 to 17] A space welcoming all gamers age 10 to 17. Come play our Nintendo Switch on a big screen. Compete with others in multi-player chaos with up to 8 players at once!

[For ages 11-17] Who's stronger, Goku, Naruto, or Sailor Moon? Watch and talk about anime while enjoying snacks at Washington Ave.

[For adults] *****NEW LOCATION***** Silent Book Clubs are popping up nationally and APL has started our own chapter!

[Adults] Do you want to learn more about Libby and Hoopla & have Magazines, eBooks, eAudiobooks & Movies delivered to your phone or device!. This is a one-on-one session intended for new users of both Apps. Registration is required.

[for ages 5 and up] Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a DJ? JD Ultraslick from the Boys & Girls Club of Albany and Lyrcisim 101 will be here to give a workshop on turtableism!
