Program Description

Event Details

The Moon Space is a chest/breastfeeding support group led by Altranise Harris. Whether you are pregnant or you have been chest/breastfeeding for many months, come join us in community and conversation about this time of nurturing our babies and ourselves. Get information on lactation, learn about resources that benefits those who are pregnant or postpartum, dismantle chest/breastfeeding misconceptions and myths, and talk about the first food we feed our children: human milk. Bring your chest/breastfeeding kiddo!
There will be the opportunity to receive therapeutic touch (with consent, through clothing), and listen to relaxing sounds. Let's lift each other up during this transitional time that's often experienced as isolating and challenging.
There will be light refreshments and tea.

Altranise Harris, MA, LMT, Certified Doula, Community Lactation Educator, and mother of two who breastfed both children into toddlerhood.

Registration required.
